چکیده
There are four main differences between the meta-databases for assessment and control systems and databases for bibliographic systems, and the like. The first is the need for speed in generating and updating the meta-database. Secondly there is the spatio-temporal aspects of the information handled. The third difference is the large volume and variety of information to be managed and to be transformed to symbolic form. Fourth is the groupwork aspects of the interaction, that can be very intense.

Germans ' tourist behaviour in Sweden
Introduction Tourism literature tends to convey the impression that tourists are exceedingly active during their holidays (Thornton, Williams & Shaw, 1997; Shaw & Williams, 2002; Walmsley, 2004). This is the case especially when non-academic studies are considered (see for example F.U.R., 2007; Nutek, 2007). However, this assumption might be influenced by the methodologies employed and the case...
متن کاملAn Algorithm for Partitioning of Application Specific Systems
This paper presents a simulated-annealing based algorithm to partition an application specific system into a set of modules. The role of partitioning is to discover the structure implicit in the functional specification of the system so as to guide high level synthesis decisions in a design environment for digital systems consisting of hardware parts and possibly software components. The partit...
متن کاملUsing Multi-Method Queries in Finite Element Analysis
The object-oriented model is often motivated by its support for new emerging application areas such as finite element analysis (FEA), computer-aided design or office automation systems. However, our experience when building such a system (FEA) using an object-relational database management system is that an object-oriented model extended with multi-methods is needed. Our application domain also...

متن کاملEliminating annotations by automatic flow analysis of real-time programs
There is an increasing demand for methods that calculate the worst case execution time (WCET) of real-time programs. The calculations are typically based on path information for the program, such as the maximum number of iterations in loops and identification of infeasible paths. Most often, this information is given as manual annotations by the programmer. Our method calculates path informatio...
